We have reopened for business! Our electric power has been restored
and we are fully operational. Reservations
and walk-in guests are welcome. Thank you for your patience.
And: travel time from Manila to Iba is now greatly reduced by the
new toll road (SCTEX).

Get away from the city and enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the beach at Amungan,
located northwest of Manila on a sheltered bay of the South China Sea. Do you live in Metro Manila?
Are you traveling to the Philippines from overseas? Stay in comfortable and private family-style
accommodations and have fun at the beach! We provide reserved parking and direct,
gated access to the beach.
The one story house features a spacious
living room, a dining room with an ocean view, two
bedrooms, a kitchen with a stove top and refrigerator, and a bathroom with a hot water shower and
Western style toilet. The furnishings are of traditional design. Ceiling fans provide cooling and the bedrooms are air conditioned.
Outside are a separate bamboo shelter for shade, another shower for rinsing off the salt water after
swimming, additional men's and women's bathrooms, and a barbecue.
We also offer the option of food preparation for our guests.
The weather is warm and the sunsets are spectacular. Our
rates are competitive.
Here's what "The Rough Guide" says about us:
"Iba and around...The main attraction is the beach to the west, which you can reach in a few minutes by jeepney
from the main road ... it's a pleasant place to break your journey along the coast for a night. There are a number of
reasonable resorts on the beach, the best of which is Ocean View Beach House in Balintabog, Amungan, a few kilometres north
of Iba at the centre of a gentle crescent beach protected by reefs at both ends."

Here's what some of our customers have to say:
"...beautiful scenery ... clean and comfortable ... quiet ... an ideal place for everyone."
"We had a wonderful time especially the kids. The kids that usually get up late can't wait to get up as
soon as the day breaks to gather shells and such from the beach. [Staff members] were great,
I coudn't ask for a better couple to guide us through our short time in Zambales. They were very helpful.
I really liked your place especially the cottage where the ocean breeze keeps you cool."
